A fossilised tree formed over 20 million years ago through mineralization. The process occurs when wood is buried under sediment, protecting it from decay. Mineral-rich water then flows through the sediment, and the minerals precipitate out and replace the organic material of the wood, molecule by molecule.

This rare piece works as a functional coffee table, side table or an art object. 

Petrified wood of this size and quality is highly collectible, and each is entirely unique.
